Here is a recording of one of my students. You can see that he was able to read and type Chinese characters. Also, his pronunciation is excellent. He was able to do all this after just 10 lessons with me.

Hi, I'm from Thailand. Ye Laoshi was my teacher when she taught in Thailand in 2013. I'm now studying Chinese in a very good Chinese college with scholarship. I am going to graduate next year and I will go to graduate school and continue learning Chinese. Ye Laoshi is an awesome teacher, and helped me master my Chinese.

Hi I'm Mike. I just started taking Chinese lessons with Ye Laoshi, but as you can tell in this recording I have spent time making sure I am speaking the tones correctly. I still have to speak slowly, but I am pronouncing the words correctly. My Chinese friends have commented on how unusual it is for an American guy to be able to pronounce the words correctly. I can't wait to learn more!
